Cahaba Pumping Station

Cahaba Pumping Station New Control Building

The Cahaba Pumping Station was built between 1888 and 1890 for the Birmingham Water Works. In 1995 the Birmingham Water Works Board renovated the old Boiler building as a Historical Preservation Project, intended for Public display. The existing Control Building was abandoned and renovated for offices and meeting space. CCI served as the Prime/Coordinating Professional for the design of a new Control Building.
